About This Spot

Stepping into Ca phe Phin feels like discovering a quiet corner of Vietnam tucked into the heart of Houston. The space invites you to slow down and savor simple pleasures—comfortably cushioned seats, warm lighting, and an ambiance that blends casual coziness with a touch of thoughtful design. Whether you're pausing after a busy day or looking for a peaceful spot to connect with a friend, there’s a gentle rhythm here that encourages you to linger.

This is more than just a coffee shop; it’s a place where the everyday ritual of drinking coffee or tea becomes a small, thoughtful experience. The aroma of freshly ground Vietnamese coffee mingles with the sweet scent of baked goods, creating an inviting atmosphere that feels both genuine and welcoming. The careful crafting of each drink—whether it’s the creamy richness of an iced cà phê sữa or the soft, floral notes of a jasmine milk tea—balances tradition with a subtle contemporary twist.

Alongside these thoughtfully brewed beverages, the food quietly complements the moment. Sandwiches served warm and fresh, flaky croissants with savory fillings, and delicate cakes made in-house feel like the kind of offerings that make you want to come back—not for flashiness, but because they’re authentically satisfying. Each bite and sip seems designed to evoke a sense of comfort and approachable indulgence, a kind of culinary familiarity that quietly impresses without overwhelming.

The friendly greetings from the staff add a personal touch, making visitors feel seen and appreciated, while the shop’s décor—simple yet inviting—encourages a restful pause. Outlets tucked discreetly near seating areas hint at the space’s practical side, accommodating those who might want to work or catch up on messages while soaking in this unhurried environment.

Ca phe Phin stands as a thoughtful neighborhood refuge where the hum of daily life meets moments of calm and connection—whether through a shared smile, a carefully made drink, or the simple pleasure of savoring something delicious in quiet company.

Wife and I stopped by for a quick bite after visiting the Space center. The pork Vietnamese sandwich was flavorful, reasonably priced, hot & fresh, and an appropriate portion size for a medium-hungry person. The sweet avocado smoothie is pretty tasty as well if you’re into that sort of thing. The shop lady greeted us with warm hospitality. The decorations and furniture are pretty cool. There were some books and a chess board. Highly recommend!

I found this lovely Vietnamese Coffee House (the only of its kind in the States!) off of NASA Parkway, a great location to come and enjoy an authentic Vietnamese coffee and croissant sandwich. I ordered the cà phê sũa (traditional Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk) and it was so good that I bought another to take back to my friend. I also ordered the croissant double cheese sandwich with poached egg, garlic aioli, and fresh parsley, I added avocado to mine and it was so delicious! I highly suggest to come and visit for an authentic yummy coffee, and learn about the Vietnamese culture with the books provided to read while visiting!

Best coffee shop in all of Greater Houston! Comfortable seating, relaxing and cozy atmosphere, great service. All the snacks and drinks are delicious, and yes, I can say that because I've tried all of them. I have nothing negative to say about this place; it's incredibly close to being the perfect coffee shop. Really great place to relax and slowly sip your coffee. I highly recommend!

Went in today and absolutely loved our food and beve!!! The service was absolutely fantastic!! Our drink and food was walked out to us in beautiful display! I wish I had a photo but our drink and food was so good it was gone as soon as it landed on the table. I will be back again!! I got a tiramisu frappe and my boyfriend got a croissant with vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle :’)

The owner is friendly and knows her Vietnamese coffee ! Today I ordered a ca phê sua da and a banh mi pork sandwich. There are outlets and cozy seating!

Best little cozy coffee shop I've seen in a long while! The coffee and bubble tea here is wonderful! The lady running the shop was kind and pleasant. The shop itself had an impeccable atmosphere and has lots of nice seating. Definitely a strong recommend!

Cafe Phin is absolutely charming! The quaint atmosphere is perfect for a cozy coffee break. I had the Vietnamese coffee and iced matcha, and both were superb! Highly recommend this hidden gem for authentic Vietnamese coffee.
